What shipped? Vercel launched a public beta integration connecting Cursor Origin repositories to automatic Preview and Production deployments.
What changed? Cursor Origin — the repository collaboration layer in Cursor, the AI-native code editor — can now be linked directly to Vercel projects. Once connected, every push to a Cursor Origin repo triggers an automatic Vercel deployment with Preview URLs for branches and Production deploys from the default branch. No manual pipeline wiring, no webhook configuration. The integration is in public beta and available today from both the Vercel dashboard and inside Cursor.
Why does a builder care? If you're using Cursor's Origin feature for team collaboration (shared repos, workspaces, AI-assisted code review), this eliminates the deploy step entirely. Push in Cursor, see it live on Vercel. It's the kind of friction-kill that makes the editor-to-production loop actually feel like one gesture instead of a dozen clicks.
