What shipped? Vercel Agent is now available in Slack as a public beta.
What changed? Teams on Pro and Enterprise plans can mention @Vercel in any Slack channel or thread. Agent joins the conversation with full context from your Vercel projects — deployments, builds, logs, metrics, configuration, and connected repos. It can investigate why a deployment failed, help review and fix code, and take actions like rolling back or updating config — but only with explicit approval. Agent is read-only by default, acts under its own identity, and never exceeds the requester's permissions. Every action is attributed to Agent, the requester, and the approver.
Behind the scenes, Vercel for Slack uses the same Agent infrastructure that powers the dashboard. During beta a limited number of simple requests are free; paid work bills on demand via Agent pricing.
Why does a builder care? If your team lives in Slack (and most dev teams do), Agent is now one @mention away from production context. No dashboard tab-switching. No digging through logs. The approval gate means you can delegate confidently.
