What changed

On Vercel, GPT-6 Astra is available through AI Gateway for coding, computer use, research, and multi-step professional workflows — one API key, no OpenAI account, with fallbacks, spend tracking, and traces on every request. On Netlify, Astra works in AI Gateway and Agent Runners with zero configuration: use the OpenAI SDK directly in Netlify Functions without managing a separate OpenAI API key. Both platforms slot the model into your existing gateway console, so routing, fallbacks, and observability carry over from the models you already call.
