GitHub: Auto-Close Contributions From Blocked Users

GitHub now lets you automatically close all open issues, discussions, and pull requests authored by a user when you block them.

Select "Close content authored by this user" in the block dialog — available when blocking from a comment, issue, or PR, or from Settings → Moderation → Blocked users. That's it. All their open contributions across the account or org close in one action.

This matters because blocking someone used to leave their spam, harassment, or unwanted contributions scattered across repositories for maintainers to clean up manually. One checkbox replaces a messy search-and-close session.

Available now for personal accounts and organizations.
